"A happy life is based on two key components, both anchored in a healthy sleep, and represented in this equation: healthy body + healthy mind = Happy Life."
Virginia Castillón Montel, Health & Safety Manager, Region Western Europe
"Getting enough sleep is one of the four pillars for a healthy life besides nutrition, relaxation and sufficient exercise. In my opinion, the old German adage ,Go to bed with the chickens, get up when the roosters crow’ is really applicable because sleep is indispensable for body and soul."
Josef Wörl, Quality management responsible Product Service, Germany
"Sleep disturbances are on the rise. Therefore, we need a broad understanding of the necessity of healthy sleep – similar to the acknowledged importance of fitness and healthy nutrition. People who do not sleep enough are less efficient and have a higher risk of accidents at work and in traffic. I consider relaxation breaks like for example a mindfulness exercise or power nap during the day to be an adequate measure for maintaining physical performance reserves and performance levels."
Dr. Beatrice Sichart, company doctor, Germany
"For me personally sleep is important because my left eyelid starts twitching from stress without enough sleep. Also my body feels so fatigued, it makes enjoying life more difficult! Make your bedroom comfortable, get into a routine of going to bed at the same time and direct your thoughts away from stress and worry but toward something pleasant and calming!"
Tanjia Maynard, Health & Safety Manager, Region Americas
"Good sleep is the way to a profitable, successful day. For this reason, I think the letsleep platform is a great, informative offer with a special added value for each colleague."
Helmut Wolff , Health Manager Division Mobility, Germany
"Until I had my children, I didn’t pay as much attention to the rhythm of sleep; It was only through them that I have realized the importance of this topic and the connection with the good functioning of the immune system. I welcome the variety of content in the context of health campaigns!"
Zvezdana Erzen, HR Manager, Slovenia
"Sleep is an amazing thing, and it retains its mystery despite all the research that has been conducted. It is one of our fundamental, essential basic needs that we need to maintain our health and wellbeing, and to remain productive in our everyday lives, both at work and at home."
Andreas Meindl, Health Manager Industry Service, Germany
“It is scientifically proven: Lack of sleep affects concentration and creativity. Therefore I consider healthy sleep to be the basis of our performance and am pleased to have found a competent partner in letsleep in the field of sleep research. I cordially invite all colleagues to use the sleep portal in order to use the findings to optimally control their regeneration and performance phases.”
Nicole Commeßmann, Head of Global Health & Safety
We are a team of health scientists, psychologists and creative minds. Our goal is to spread the word about healthy sleep in Germany – in the world of work and in society as a whole. That’s why we founded letsleep – a platform where all your questions about sleep are answered. Also, our scientific online coaching programme is designed to help reduce sleep problems.
We work closely with the Institute für Betriebliche Gesundheitsberatung (IFBG), which is a spin-off of scientists from the Universities of Constance and Karlsruhe (KIT) and specializes, among other things, in the topic of sleep and recovery in the working world.
