as the controller and also as the service provider, we wish to inform you below in relation to the processing of your personal data and your rights as the data subject when using our website.

1. Cookies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies (below overall: “cookies”), in order to be able to design the website to the best possible standard. This makes its easier, for example to navigate the site, and offers a high level of user friendliness.

Cookies are generally small identification codes that our webserver send to your browser and which are stored by your computer in the standard cookie settings. These can be used to determine whether your end device has already sent a communication to us. As a result, they serve the purpose of making it easier for you to use the site and to optimise our offer by enabling us to evaluate the use of our website. Cookies can be set by us or by third party providers, such as our analysis partners. The data is processed either on the basis of Art. 6, para. 1, p. 1, letter f of the GDPR or on the basis of Art. 6, para. 1, p. 1, letter a of the GDPR, insofar as you have expressly consented to the storage and use of cookies. Personal data may be stored in cookies when this is technically necessary, or if you have consented to it. Recourse to other statutory legal bases remains expressly reserved.

If you consent to the use and storage of non-necessary cookies, you can revoke this at any time with effect in the future in the cookie settings for this website.

Otherwise, you can prevent the storage of necessary cookies at any time by selecting “accept no cookies” in your browser settings. The technical procedure for managing and deleting cookies in your browser settings is described in the Help section of your browser.

You can also prevent the storage and use of all cookies using free browser add-ons, such as “Adblock Plus” (adblockplus.org/de) in combination with the “EasyPrivacy” list (easylist.to).

Preventing the storage of all cookies may lead to restricted functioning of the website.

a) Essential cookies

We use the following essential cookies for our website functions. We have an authorised interest in their storage, since we can otherwise not offer our website with certain fundamental functions (e.g. when changing pages, you would otherwise have to create new website settings):

You can only deactivate essential cookies via your browser settings or browser add-ons. For further details, see the above text. This can lead to limited functioning of the website.

b) Analysis cookies

Analysis cookies help us better understand how visitors interact with our website and our content by evaluating information relating to usage. Here, we also use cookies from third-party providers, which may make it possible for them to obtain information on your usage behaviour and to use it for their own purposes (see the item above). Please also visit the websites of the third-party providers to obtain further information on their use of cookies. We use the following analysis cookies on our website:

If you have given us your consent to do so, we store and use analysis cookies in compliance with Art. 6, para. 1, p. 1, letter a of the GDPR. For further details, see the above paragraphs and the items below. You can revoke this consent at any time, with effect in the future, in the cookie settings of this website.

Web analysis/Google Analytics

If you provide your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Analytics uses “cookies”. The information generated by the cookie relating to the use of our website by you is usually transferred to a Google service in the USA and is stored there. The legal basis is Art. 6, para. 1, p. 1, letter a of the GDPR, since data processing occurs on the basis of your consent. Recourse to other statutory legal bases remains expressly reserved. Any data transfer to the USA is subject to the standard EU contractual clauses concluded with the Google parent company, Google LC, and as a result offer a guarantee that European data protection law will be observed.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website by you, to compile reports about website activities and to provide further services to us relating to website use and Internet use. Pseudonym usage profiles can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymisation. This means that the IP address of the Google users is abbreviated within the member states of the European Union (EU) or in other states that have signed the agreement regarding the European Economic Area (EEA). The full IP address is only transferred in full to the Google server in the USA in exceptional cases, and is abbreviated there. According to the information provided by Google, the IP address communicated by your browser is generally not combined with other data obtained by Google.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for our recording purposes. In our cases, this usually occurs after 14 months.

You can revoke your consent to the use of Google Analytics at any time via the cookie settings on this website. You can also prevent the storage and use of cookies by changing your browser settings or using browser add-ons (see item above). Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the further processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

For more information on data use by Google, setting and objection options, see the Google websites:
